Because every human being points at themselves when asked who he or she is, I took the form of human chest as the starting point for the design of the cemetary chapel Farkasrét. The centre point of the human being is the heart and it is just at this spot where the bier is placed. It is as if a small human being lies within a big one. Between the ribs are the chairs designed by Gábor Mezei. Their backrests are like the image of a being accompanying the mourners.

The Nature Appreciation Centre near Visegrád on the other hand finds its orientation in nature and the surrounding cosmos. The building has the shape of a hill. The cupola, clad in slate, pushes up the earth as though it has broken through the earth’s crust. The cupola is supported by twelve columns which  bear the signs of the Zodiac. The two entrances of the building orient themselves according to the position of the sun at equinox on the 21st March and 21st September. The round roof hatch in this room acts as the hand of a sundial, which anchors the building in the stream of time.
