This ecological residential development was constructed on the grounds of the former Kreidler motorcycle plant. The development of bio-solar architecture has shown in the last few years that it can lead to a noticeable improvement both for the environment as well as the quality of life for human beings, even in ecologically challenged suburban quarters. At the same time, it renders residential inner city areas more livable and attractive. The organic courtyard design is based on an optimal orientation towards the sun. In spite of a high building density, it ensures that the individual apartments have sufficient natural sunlight as well as a view and some privacy.

The communal inner courtyards are characterized by fluid transitions, playgrounds, water features and lush plantings. The building materials and building techniques used all meet ecological demands and aim for a healthy living climate and the beautification of the environment.
